House Bill Aims to Derail Planned Parenthood Gravy Train
Abortion cuts short the futures of more than 1,000 unborn children every day in America—and yet the mainstream media barely flinches. But behind those staggering numbers are stories of fear, pressure, trauma, and regret—often ignored or distorted by the abortion lobby and their allies in Congress.
Those emotions become very real not to the unborn child but to the woman who chose to move on without it. Even the pro-choice crowd must admit that fear, pressure, trauma, and regret are not emotions to be championed; they are emotions to overcome and avoid whenever possible.
With the House advancing a new appropriations bill that includes long-overdue language to defund Planned Parenthood, Let Them Live is launching a national response campaign each Monday in June to spotlight the real story—the one Planned Parenthood doesn’t want told.
Let Them Live’s spokespeople, including founders Nathan and Emily Berning and frontline advocates Tacara McKay and Tasha King, are available for interviews and op-eds to expose:
- The myth of choice: Most women don’t feel “empowered” to abort—they feel trapped, broke, or bullied.
- The mental toll: Post-abortion trauma and grief are underreported but tragically widespread.
- The bait-and-switch: Planned Parenthood calls itself “healthcare,” but abortion is the product they’re selling.
- The parental rights gap: Minors are being funneled into abortion without their parents’ knowledge or consent.
- The alternative: Let Them Live offers financial help, housing, mentorship, and hope to women in crisis—no judgment, just compassion.
- Sex Education: Planned Parenthood often bypasses parental oversight and exposing children to inappropriate content.
Let Them Live is uniquely positioned to speak to this moment—not just as pro-life advocates, but as problem-solvers. As Congress takes a first step toward pulling taxpayer dollars from America’s largest abortion chain, Let Them Live is ready to offer a better way forward—one that empowers women and saves lives.
