Dropping Guillotine on Tyranny (Guest: Alireza Zafarzadeh)

Iranian People Join Europeans in Paris for Vive la Résistance Against Mullahs

On February 8th, thousands of Iranians and European supporters of freedom will gather in Paris for a major rally demanding policy and regime change in Iran. Led by Iranian opposition groups like the National Council of Resistance to Iran (NCRI), this event will send a powerful message to world leaders: The time to act against the Iranian regime is now.

Paris holds deep historical significance in Iran’s modern history. It was here that Ayatollah Khomeini plotted his return to power in 1979, ultimately leading to the oppressive regime that has ruled Iran with an iron fist for over four decades. Now, in that same city, a new movement is rising—one that seeks to replace the brutal theocracy with a democratic Iran.

With Iran accelerating its nuclear weapons program and intensifying its domestic repression, the world cannot afford to remain passive. The February 8th rally will be a clarion call for decisive action: tougher policies against the regime, greater support for the Iranian people, and an end to the West’s appeasement of Tehran.

Jafarzadeh and other prominent voices from the Iranian opposition are available for interviews to discuss this crucial turning point for Iran and the international community.
