SHOWdown in NYC (Guest: Levi Browde / Leeshai Lemish)

American Dance Company Launches Culture Counterstrike at CCP from Lincoln Center

Shen Yun isn’t just a performing arts company—at this point, it’s an act of defiance. It’s a cultural force standing against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), an oppressive regime that has spent decades trying to erase China’s spiritual heritage. And right now, this American company, based in New York, is bringing its most powerful production yet to the Lincoln Center, just blocks away from the headquarters of The New York Times—the very outlet that has smeared and undermined it time and time again.

In fact, the Grey Lady is behaving exactly as a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda arm would if it had an outpost in NYC.

Let’s be clear: Shen Yun is not backing down. The same mainstream media that claims to champion diversity and free expression has relentlessly targeted Shen Yun, publishing hit pieces that serve as nothing more than veiled propaganda. These attacks aren’t just dishonest—they’re dangerous. Just recently, Shen Yun received bomb threats, attempts to silence the very voices that refuse to bow to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) narrative. But Shen Yun refuses to be intimidated.

This is about more than dance. More than music. More than performance. This is about the soul of a civilization that the CCP has tried to destroy—one that Shen Yun is resurrecting on stage for the world to see. It is a battle of values, a clash between artistic truth and authoritarian control. While Beijing wages war on faith, Shen Yun brings faith to life—through breathtaking classical Chinese dance, live orchestration, and storytelling that revives 5,000 years of civilization before communism ravaged it.

And now, in the cultural capital of the world, Shen Yun is making its stand. Night after night at the Lincoln Center, audiences are witnessing the beauty and spiritual depth of a China the CCP wants erased. Meanwhile, the New York Times sits just blocks away, complicit in its silence on the real threat: a totalitarian regime exporting its censorship and intimidation tactics onto American soil.

Shen Yun is on offense. The CCP, its apologists, and their mouthpieces in the media cannot silence the truth. The question is—who will stand with them?
