Awareness has been growing in the transgender movement as of late, though some are not as willing to accept the discussion as others. That said, an Epoch TV documentary has been showing a side that more and more people are starting to see.
Gender Transformation: The Untold Realities recently debuted exclusively on The Epoch Times’ streaming channel, and has garnered a large audience. Recently, to push awareness for the film even further, a special screening and panel was held with Moms for America, in the hopes of discussing the information “every Mom needs to know about the extreme messaging being peddled to children in elementary, middle and high schools across the country.”
Jan Jekielek, senior editor with The Epoch Times, explained that both the film and the panel discussion “serve as a valuable resource, even offering possible solutions for parents and their children when they are faced with gender confusion.” The panel discussion also focused on what families were going through, and what protections they can put in place for their children.
Mercedes Schlapp, senior fellow for the American Conservative Union Foundation, explained the importance of screenings and panels such as this. “This issue of gender ideology, I think, has been so toxic for American culture. And it’s spreading.”
Here to talk about this particular subject is Tobias Elvhage, who serves as the co-director and producer of Gender Transformation. His expertise on the matter, and experience making the film, will prove useful in this discussion.
