Legally Getting Around the Second Amendment?

A spokesman for the Gun Owners of America discusses a dangerous new bill that could hurt gun manufacturers through unreasonable legal means.

Many states have tried to introduce bills against guns in the past, only to be stopped cold by the protection of the Second Amendment of the Constitution. However, a new bill being introduced in Connecticut could introduce a worrying new way for the state to punish gun manufacturers.

According to YouTuber Colion Noir, Democratic lawmakers are introducing a new bill that could hurt gun manufacturers a different way – through litigation. Even if they’re following the law.

The bill would allow gun stores and manufacturers to be sued for crimes, even if they had nothing to do with them. And that’s even if they sell a firearm legally. What’s more, the bill insists that “reasonable steps” can be taken with such legal action, though that isn’t the case.

Colion believes that such a process could bankrupt the firearms industry from the inside out if the bill is allowed to pass. Now imagine if other states – like California – were able to follow suit. Scary, isn’t it?

A spokesman for the Gun Owners of America joins us now to discuss the bill, and how it could hurt owners of gun shops – and, for that matter, private gun owners – in the long haul.
