Israel Moves into Rafah Angering Democrats (Guest: David Rubin)

Israel gained control of the Gazan side of the Rafah Crossing as part of a “precise counterterrorism operation” according to the Israel Defense Forces. The IDF said in a statement “fighter jets struck and eliminated Hamas terror targets in the Rafah area, including military structures, underground infrastructure, and additional terrorist infrastructure from which Hamas operated in the Rafah area.”

Meanwhile, Democrats in congress are furious Israel continues their war on terrorists who attacked them on October 7th.  Many Democrats now say they want arms shipments to Israel stopped.

David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, has been monitoring the events of the war. He joins us now to discuss the invasion and reaction of Democrats.

Q&A:

1. What do you know about the invasion? Where did Israel strike and what did it accomplish?

2. Why Rafah? What was there that necessitated an invasion?

3. From what you can tell, was the initial invasion a success?

4. What is happening with the refugees in the area?

5. Democrats complain that this ended hope for a cease-fire agreement. Is that a valid concern?

6. Does this put the hostages at a greater risk?

7. Why are Democrats in particular upset over this war effort?
