ISIS Terror Attacks in Israeli Cities: Iran Nuclear Agreement “Within Days”

Interview opportunity with Shiloh, Israel mayor David Rubin

With Russian troops continuing to bomb Ukrainian cities, the U.S. State Department has announced a possible agreement with Iran “within days”, while details emerging from the impending deal reveal the proposed Russian purchase of enriched uranium from Iran and the removal of sanctions on the notorious IRGC.

These concessions have been approved by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan among leading officials in the Biden administration. Simultaneously, we have seen in the past week a sharp increase in terror attacks in Israel, carried out by an ISIS cell that is based in an Arab town in southern Galilee.

Joining us to discuss what he calls grave dangers to the United States from an Iranian agreement, is David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, American-Israeli political analyst, and author of “Confronting Radicals: What America Can Learn from Israel.”

Questions and Answers:

  1. As terror is once again raging in Israel, why are most Israelis objecting so strongly to this impending deal with Iran? The deal should be subtitled, Dirty Dealings with Shady Partners. On the one hand, Biden wants Putin, who is busy bombing Ukrainian cities, removed from power. On other hand, he is trusting the very same Putin to ensure that a new peaceful regime emerges in Iran, which, given the history of the radical regime in Iran, makes no sense at all.
  2. Is it accurate to say that Biden is trying to slip in this Iran deal under the radar while all eyes are focused on Ukraine? And why is nobody noticing the Russia connection? The Russians have been central all along in these negotiations. Biden’s advisors are well aware of it and interestingly, have no problem with that dangerous Iran-Putin axis. That’s why Biden’s advisors quickly contradicted the president when he said that Putin has to be removed from power.
  3. When discussing the Russia-Ukraine war, much has been said about the energy factor, with Biden announcing his intent to sell natural gas to Europe to get them off the dependence on Russian oil. Will that actually reduce such dependence? It will actually do the opposite because it raises expectations that can’t be realistically carried out for several years at least. Israel, which is much closer to Europe has become a natural gas exporting nation and recently signed an agreement with Greece and Cyprus to supply them with natural gas with the realistic possibility of extending that pipeline to other European nations. Biden has strongly objected to that, because it’s not considered “green energy”. To really solve the energy dependence problem, Biden should quickly approve the Israel-Greece-Cyprus pipeline and should also complete the Keystone pipeline. Energy independence is clearly the solution.
  4. I have to ask you a question that is on the minds of many opponents of the Iran deal. If the deal is signed, will Israel respond? And what about this increased involvement of ISIS as a terrorist player in Israel? Every Muslim terrorist group seeks the dubious honor, as they see it, of attacking Israel. ISIS, which was marginalized by Trump, wants to get back into the game, so to speak. As for Iran, Israel has been quietly preparing a very appropriate military response to this nuclear threat, which is indeed an existential threat that can no longer be ignored, as Iran will be reaching nuclear breakout capacity within the year. Deal or no deal, Israel will respond, and in a big way.
