How Many More Problems Will Protestors Cause Our Nation’s Police? (Guest: Michael Letts)

The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder discusses the increase in protests, and how much worse the situation can get.

Anti-Israel protests have been growing in numbers over the past few weeks, particularly on college campuses. And now it’s getting to the point where things are getting out of hand.

Hundreds of students and faculty members have been arrested during these protests, which have also seen acts of destruction of property, including the spraying of graffiti. As a result, police officers who have already been stretched beyond their limit by depleted budgets and an increase in migrants coming into the country have been pushed beyond their limits.

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any end in sight for these ongoing protests. So what happens now?

Joining us to discuss this further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Michael is President, Founder and CEO of InVest USA, which provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. His expertise in all things law and order make him a great guest for this interview. Welcome, Michael.

Q&A:

  1. You’ve been talking about how police officers in the United States have already been worn pretty thin with the border crisis and the “defund the police” campaign. How much more do protests such as these push them?
  2. Why do you think so many people are protesting against Israel, anyway?
  3. People do have a right to protest, but are many of these students going too far? Especially when it comes to criminal acts like destruction of property?
  4. Now it appears that these protests are affecting how these campuses are run, with some turning to online teaching. How will this affect how some people learn as a result?
  5. Where do you see these protests going in the months ahead? Will they get worse before they get better?
  6. We’ve seen some protestors attempt to “make a deal” for amnesty. Should such an option even be on the table, considering their actions?
  7. Could the mistakes surrounding Biden with the border crisis and support of Israel cost him when it comes to re-election?
  8. You’re the creator of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. Tell us more about that, and why support for fellow officers is so important right now.
  9. Where can we learn more about InVest USA, and how those interested can help their fellow officers.
  10. You can visit our official InVest USA website, and learn more on the official Invest USA Twitter account. You can also learn about my new initiative at RestoringJustice.US, where we discuss lawful issues surrounding citizens of the United States.
