How Israel Foiled Iran’s Assassination Plot

A report from the Wall Street Journal indicates that Israel lent a hand in stopping Iran from eliminating Donald Trump.

At a time when many are questioning where Israel stands with the ongoing spat between the United States and Iran, a new situation suggests it actually lent a hand in saving the life of U.S. President Donald Trump. And several, including Founder and President of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund, former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin, have taken notice.

• A report from the Wall Street Journal revealed that Israel warned Trump about a potential assassination plot put in place by Iran.
• As a result of said plot details, Trump switched Air Force One planes following his visit to Turkey, only to switch back in the United Kingdom.
• Trump has already warned that there are 1,000 missiles “locked and loaded” onto Iran, should it attempt a similar plot against him.

Per the Wall Street Journal, Israel reportedly warned Trump about the plot that was specifically targeting him. As a result, he pulled a switch on his Air Force One planes during his visit in Turkey, leaving on an older plane before going back to his newer model in the United Kingdom.

“The life of a President is very dangerous,” Trump noted. “I’m number one on the kill list for Iran.”

There have been questions brought into play surrounding the security of the new Air Force One jet, such as the lack of countermeasures or missile detection systems found on older planes. The White House has refuted this, calling the aircraft “safe, secure and equipped with the most advanced technologies necessary to meet the requirements of the presidential mission.”

Still, given the scariness of the situation – and how real the attempt could have been – Trump is likely doing a “once-over” with the plane to make sure it’s properly secured. And he’s already warned Iran that he has 1,000 missiles “locked and loaded” on Iran, should they consider a similar plot against him.

With Israel helping to stop the dangerous attempt on Trump, could this help them find better common ground when it comes to the ongoing situation with their enemy?
