How Does The White House So Quickly Dismiss a Case Surrounding an Illegal Drug Ending Up In Its Halls?

Michael Letts discusses the recent “investigation” by the Secret Service that closed just as quickly as it opened.

While President Biden’s take on justice has been questioned before, a recent matter within his own White House has certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Last week, someone was able to sneak in a small amount of cocaine into the White House. The Secret Service noted that it was located “inside a receptacle used to temporarily store electronic and personal devices prior to entering the West Wing.”

However, it has now apparently concluded that investigation, noting that it is “not able” to “single out a person of interest” because of a lack of physical evidence – despite the fact that the cocaine is in their possession.

It said the investigation surrounded “how this item entered the White House,” including a “methodical review of security systems and protocols.” It also said that included a backwards examination that spanned several days prior to the discovery of the substance and developed an index of several hundred individuals who may have accessed the area where the substance was found,” as well as questioning “a pool of known persons for comparison of forensic evidence gleaned from the FBI’s analysis of the substance’s packaging.”

However, even after all this – and in investigation that barely went over a week – a suspect hasn’t been located. And some people are wondering what this means for the general security of the White House – as well as the nature of investigation under Biden’s watch.

Joining us now to discuss the matter further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Letts is Founder, President and CEO of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. His expertise will certainly be helpful in this matter.

Q&A:

  1. What’s your take on this White House investigation? Do you believe it wrapped up too quickly?
  2. What about the statement that the Secret Service has closed the investigation due to a “lack of physical evidence,” despite physically having the cocaine to analyze?
  3. What goes into an investigation such as this, you think? Should there have been more questioning? Forensics?
  4. What does this investigation say about the nature of “Biden justice” as a whole? Especially considering how poorly he’s been with taking care of the police and how his Department of Justice and FBI divisions are basically doing whatever they want?
  5. Could others now try to “sneak” things into the White House, given how quickly this investigation closed without further investigation?
  6. You’re the creator of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. Tell us more about that, and why support for fellow officers is so important right now.
