Gun Owners of America does not support the nomination of David Chipman as ATF director
TOPIC: Gun Owners of America does not support the nomination of David Chipman, an anti-constitutional gun prohibitionist and gun control lobbyist. The organization has a national alert encouraging all Second Amendment supporters to contact their Senators today.
Today’s hearing for ATF Director nominee David Chipman, anti-gun activist and former ATF agent should be filled with sparks, as he is opposed by 20 Republican Attorneys General over his views on weapons, lobbying, and ties to anti-gun groups.
Chipman began his career with the ATF regulating gun rights and left the ATF to become a registered anti-gun lobbyist for Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety and later, the (Gaby) Giffords Law Center.
Chipman has worked against the constitutionally protected rights of Americans by supporting gun control proposals and opposing bills to restore the Second Amendment from infringement. A spiteful gun prohibitionist, he has made false claims related to his participation at the Wace Siege, while advocating against concealed carry while claiming to be a concealed carrier.

Even though the Biden has made gun control a central part of his administration, the recent Supreme Court decisions have taken another direction by upholding the Second Amendment rights of Americans in recent cases that include the GOA/Gun Owners Foundation victory in Caniglia v. Strom.
