Surge in Recent Terror Threats from China’s CCP only Fuels Shen Yun’s Fearlessness

Earlier this month, a chilling threat announced a sniper attack on Shen Yun’s training campus in Deerpark, New York—promising a live-streamed assault on the artists and staff inside. The threat was explicit, targeting the Dragon Springs compound where Shen Yun performers live, train, and rehearse. It wasn’t the first, but it marked a dangerous escalation in a wave of coordinated threats against Shen Yun and the broader Falun Dafa community throughout the month of July. What was once a campaign of harassment has morphed into a full-blown attempt to terrorize an entire spiritual and cultural movement. And now, the targets are pushing back.

This surge in threats coincides with the month of the 26th anniversary of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, which began in 1999.

In just over three weeks, at least eight credible and specific threats have been documented. On July 1 and 3, messages warned of mass shootings, arson, and bombings aimed at police, politicians, and FBI agents who support Falun Gong. The July 7 threat promised to impersonate Falun Gong practitioners and commit terror attacks in their name—an apparent tactic to destroy them through false-flag operations.

July 11 brought personal threats against U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and her family, following her public support for The Epoch Times. One week later, an anonymous message claimed that plastic explosives had been planted inside classrooms at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, a religious school founded by Falun Gong adherents.

Then, on July 22, graphic rape and torture threats were sent through official online portals—one through the FDIC and the other via Shen Yun’s online store—targeting female Shen Yun performers and public supporters. These threats impersonated a relative of Falun Gong’s founder, an especially depraved attempt to sow chaos from within.

Finally, on July 23, a message impersonating Taiwan’s Vice President threatened Trump directly: stop supporting Shen Yun and Falun Gong or face armed attacks on Mar-a-Lago and the White House.

Whatever is driving this surge—foreign actors, extremist networks, or ideological enemies—it is no longer speculative or random. This is targeted, escalating, and deeply coordinated. Falun Dafa’s representatives are demanding accountability and refusing to stay quiet. The targets are on the offensive, and they’re calling for support from allies at the highest levels.
