Explosions in Iran Indicate Purposeful Acts Heightening Nuclear Negotiation Tensions

Let’s be clear. The odds of the Port Explosion in Iran being a coincidence are so infinitesimally small that they don’t exist. That leaves one conclusion. Someone is responsible and it was intentional. Subsequent bombings, coupled with the timing of ongoing nuclear negotiations lining up with these explosions render silent, anyone who claims otherwise.

Frank Gaffney, national security expert and President of the Institute for the American Future, says the chances this was all coincidence are exactly “ZERO.”

As the world focuses on renewed nuclear negotiations with Tehran, a deadly sequence of explosions has rocked Iran—raising far more questions than answers. First, a massive explosion at Shahid Rajaee port, Iran’s busiest, killed at least 70 people, injured more than 1,200, and damaged or disrupted more than 10,000 shipping containers. Within days, there was another explosion at a military facility in Iran. Last April, Israel carried out a strike in Iran, near an airport.

Why should Americans care?

“Because this isn’t just about Iran. It’s about nuclear Armageddon,” says Gaffney. “This is what it looks like when rogue regimes get too close to building the bomb—and someone decides to stop them before it’s too late.”

In light of these incidents, Gaffney is available immediately to offer sharp, insightful commentary on:

  • The real story behind the Iran port explosion and its suspicious timing
  • Why these blasts are almost certainly acts of sabotage
  • Who might be behind it—perhaps friends in Israel acting preemptively to prevent a nuclear Iran
  • Why this string of events may have saved American lives without a single U.S. boot on the ground

This is the kind of developing international crisis that could reshape U.S. foreign policy—and American security—for years to come. Gaffney brings decades of experience and unflinching clarity to the story few are willing to tell.
