In the aftermath of the Roe vs. Wade reversal, several politicians are springing into action with their own alternative solutions. Among them is Elizabeth Warren, who recently declared war on pro-life themed crisis pregnancy centers, believing that they should be stopped “right now.”
“We need to crack down on the deceptive practices these centers use to prevent people from getting abortion care, and I’ve got a bill to do just that,” she explained.
Per the video, Warren states that these pregnancy centers outnumber abortion clinics on a 3-to-1 basis, which she believes to be quite worrying. As a result, she’s working alongside Senator Bob Menendez on the bill, to crack down on the centers reportedly misleading and deceiving patients about abortion care. She also noted a recent Time Magazine article, noting that these centers are using “troves of data” that can be “weaponized” against women.
Here to speak to us now about concern over this pending bill is Rev. James Harden, M. Div, who serves as CEO for CompassCare Pregnancy Services. He also pioneered the first measurable and repeatable medical model in the pregnancy center movement. His input should weigh heavily on this matter.
