Democrats Pledge Third Impeachment, More Monkey Business after Midterms
The only thing more certain than history repeating itself is historical trends repeating themselves. For example, after the first two years of any President’s term, the midterms are almost always won in large numbers by the opposing party. When it comes to Donald Trump, impeachments at the hands of Democrat House Majorities are also trend setting.
Democrats have a clear plan if they regain control of the House in 2026: Impeach Donald Trump — again. In his latest hard-hitting column, political commentator Jeff Crouere lays out the disturbing blueprint already taking shape. Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is boasting about retaking the House, while Rep. Jasmine Crockett is promising investigations into Trump’s business deals, alleged Emoluments Clause violations, and whatever else fuels their “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Crouere argues that Democrats are campaigning on impeachment, not solutions — offering no answers for inflation, border chaos, or geopolitical instability. But there’s another danger few are talking about: Political will.
Preventing this radical agenda requires more than a slim GOP majority — it requires backbone. “If the Trump administration is stacked with appointees who play it safe or fold under pressure, we’re headed straight into another political witch hunt,” he says.
Last week, Crouere blasted Kash Patel and Dan Bongino for toeing the establishment line on Jeffrey Epstein’s death. “If that’s the standard of courage, we’re in serious trouble,” he says.
“Trump needs people who will stand up to the Deep State and win the trust of the American people,” Crouere says. Without political courage coming from places like his DOJ, DOD, or elsewhere, the Democrats are almost certain to gain the majority again.
