Donald of Arabia (Guest: David Rubin)

Trump Visits Crown Prince for Art of the Sheikh and Deal

As President Trump touches down in Saudi Arabia amid renewed efforts to restore regional stability and broker new diplomatic understandings, few voices carry more on-the-ground perspective than David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund.

Rubin, a longtime supporter of President Trump’s foreign policy in the Middle East, believes Trump’s renewed presence in the region offers a stark and welcome contrast to the chaos that prevailed under the previous administration. “Trump understands strength,” Rubin says. “And in the Middle East, peace comes through strength—not appeasement.”

With speculation swirling around potential normalization talks between Saudi Arabia and Israel, Rubin argues that it was Trump’s Abraham Accords and his maximum-pressure policy on Iran that laid the groundwork for any serious future agreement. “The Saudis trust strength,” Rubin says. “And President Trump proved during his first term that he was willing to stand up to Iran and support Israel unconditionally.”

Rubin can offer strong commentary on:

  • Why Trump’s visit could reinvigorate stalled Saudi-Israel normalization efforts.
  • How a U.S.-led Sunni-Israel alliance counters Iranian aggression.
  • Why the Abraham Accords worked—and what Biden got wrong in walking them back.
  • The importance of rebuilding U.S. deterrence in the region post-Afghanistan withdrawal.
  • Why Israeli communities, particularly in Judea and Samaria, watch these visits closely.

Rubin is available immediately for interviews, print commentary, or live appearances. As one of the most articulate and passionate defenders of Israel on the global stage, Rubin provides a deeply informed, unapologetically pro-Israel perspective that few others can match.

David Rubin is the founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund and maintains the website www.IsraelChildren.org

Rubin is also the author of Trump and The Jews.
