Did the January 6th Committee Force This Former Defense Secretary To Keep Quiet? (Guest: Michael Letts)

The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder discusses the latest report from the Epoch Times, which could change the way we look at the Committee’s actions.

Based on social media opinions and media reports, one would think that the January 6th Committee would be operating with justice in mind. However, a new report from The Epoch Times reveals they might have had other motives.

Per the report, former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, then serving former President Donald Trump, spoke to the Daily Mail, explaining that he was receiving pressure from the Committee to keep quiet about claims surrounding Trump authorizing the deployment of National Guard troops before the “insurrection” on the U.S. Capitol.

He noted how members of the Democratic-driven panel used “aggressive” tactics to get the answers they were looking for.

Miller noted, “The two of us were on (the Fox News show) and the next day my lawyer got a call from the Jan. 6 staff director. I forgot exactly who it was, but basically saying, very legalistic, ‘Well, if your client has additional information he wants to share, we’d be happy to have him re-interviewed.’”

A simple statement, but Miller goes further. “It was more than latent threat of, ‘If you want to keep going on TV, we’re gonna drag you in here again for additional hours of hearing testimony.’ So that was the nature of the whole thing. It was the latent threat of the government continuing to intrude in my life.”

Joining us now to discuss this further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Letts is President, Founder and CEO of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. His knowledge in all things law and order make him a great subject for this interview.

Welcome, Mr. Letts!
