Pastor and author Mark Biltz discusses the consequences that could come from Israel’s planned strike on Rafah.
Israel has finally reached a point in its war with Hamas where it’s drawn a line in the sand, demanding that all hostages be released by March 10th. If that doesn’t occur, it could be ready to strike hard in the southern Gazan town of Rafah.
In a recent gathering on Sunday, war cabinet minister Benny Gantz noted, “The world must know, and Hamas leaders must know – if by Ramadan our hostages are not home, the fighting will continue to the Rafah area.”
He added, “(Israel) will do so in a coordinated manner, facilitating the evacuation of civilians in dialogue with our American and Egyptian partners to minimize civilian casualties.”
But it’s interesting how the deadline is so close to Ramadan, and how Muslims may not be able to celebrate their favorite holiday. By comparison, however, Muslims did invade Jews in Israel last October during the last day of Sukkot, the Feast of the Tabernacles. So why should Muslims be allowed to celebrate when Jews weren’t able to?

Q&A:
- What is the significance of a March 10th deadline?
- Benny Gantz who is an external member of the Israeli war cabinet made the statement and wasn’t speaking for the government. Netanyahu would never make a statement like that. One reason for such a statement is to warn and create uncertainty. Unfortunately, Israeli government does not speak in one voice.
- The deadline is meaningless unless Israel guarantees it won’t overthrow Hamas. Besides, It will take way over a month for Israel to overtake Rafah.
- But March 11th is the first night of Ramadan and also begins the Jewish month of Adar. Adar is the very month that Haman, a descendant from the royal line of Amalek, attempted genocide of all the Jewish people as recorded in the Book of Esther.
- Do you see the war expanding if the IDF enters Rafah?
- Absolutely! You see the support of Hamas around the world both overtly and covertly. This is the spirit of Amalek, the ancient spirit of genocide against the Jewish people that began 3,500 years ago. Israel is the canary in the coal mine and we are at the precipice of global conflict. War is coming to America this year! This is a war between the Sons of Light vs the sons of Darkness. Israel is the little Satan and the US is the Big Satan in the eyes of the axis of evil nations.
- Will the Middle East war expand to the United States?
- Absolutely and it will begin this year. The problem is that we always blame the victim and Israel will be blamed. Our government is the government of appeasement with no backbone. This being an election year our government wants to appease the Muslim constituency. There will be terrorist attacks here in the homeland with suicide bombers blowing themselves up at gas stations, grocery stores, on bridges due to the total disregard of guarding our borders. There are many sleeper cells within our nation. allowing illegal immigrants from over 100 nations to enter. Even allowing thousands of illegal immigrants from China of military age with some entering with the sole purpose of taking down all of our electrical grid.
- Is a forced two state solution viable?
- It will NEVER work. This is not about land!! It’s a radical Islamic religious war!! Our politicians just don’t get it. The Radical Muslim fanatics have 3 stages of Jihad. The Jihad in the hand, (Killing all Infidels- anyone who is not Muslim) the Jihad in the mouth (Preaching Incitement) and the Jihad in the heart (inserting sleeper cells.) Qatar is not an honest broker but rather it is giving billions to our universities to promote hate. (Jihad of the mouth). Here in Washington State they added a Hamas amendment to a Holocaust Education Bill saying that Israel commits genocide! - Why are you so sure global warfare is starting this year?
- The heavens are declaring it through scientifically proven signs from God. There are solar eclipses falling on the Jewish holidays of Nisan 1 and Tishri 1 as well as lunar eclipses on Adar 15 and Elul 15 – 2 years in a row. A very rare occurrence! This coming Great American Eclipse on April 8th is a definite sign that war is coming to the America this year. There have only been 8 total solar eclipses that have completely crossed the United States since we have become a nation in 1776. They were during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the Vietnam War.
