Could Christianity Become a Minority Religion In the United States Within a Few Years? (Guest: Jimmy Womble and Marty Roberts)

The directors of the new sports drama Running the Bases sound off on the subject.

With a pandemic, a growing inflation, social media drama and controversy with its government, many United States citizens are questioning their faith in Christianity.

report from Fox News reporter Pete Hegseth talks about how there has been quite the drop in Christian faith, which could potentially get worse by 2035. Back in the 90s, Americans who identified as Christians had a percentage of 90 percent. However, by 2007, it had dropped to 78 percent. This year? 64 percent. That number could drop to 50 percent within just a few years.

“Our nation’s faith is diminishing at an alarming rate,” Hegseth noted.

“Previous generations passed along all of the wants of the world, and not enough of the needs. They took for granted the main ingredient that underwrites all of those worldly advancements – and that’s faith. Faith in something greater than ourselves.”

Here now to speak on the subject are Marty Roberts and Jim Womble, who serve as co-writers and co-directors of the new movie Running the Bases. The film deals with a baseball coach moving his family to a new school for the first time to guide them to greatness, but finding difficulty when there are those who question his Christian faith. Clearly, their expertise will prove worthwhile for this subject.
