Could China’s Economic Woes Lead To Possible Desperation (Guest: Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis)

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis discusses some recent comments indicating that the country is becoming a “ticking time bomb.”

The ongoing tension between China and the United States has grown over the past few months, but some recent comments from President Joe Biden indicate that the country might consider something desperate to keep afloat.

At a recent fundraiser, Biden noted that China’s economy is “in trouble,” and that these economic challenges are anything but good. The reason for this is because, according to Biden, “when bad folks have problems, they do bad things.”

Of course, Beijing was quick to respond, with Liu Pengyu of China’s Washington embassy noting that the comments were made with “smearing China” in mind, along with potential of “talking down China’s prospects.” He also believed that Biden and his fellow politicians could be promoting some form of “division and confrontation.”

The tension began some time ago, starting with a simple war of words and then escalating with the shooting-down of a “weather balloon” over U.S. soil months ago, along with the closure of several illegal Chinese police stations within our country. Could things potentially get worse before they get better?

Joining us now is Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis, author of the book Divided We Stand: The Globalist Scheme For a One-World Government, Maginnis joins us now to discuss what’s happening in China, and what could potentially come next.

Q&A:

  1. What’s your personal take on the ongoing tension between the United States and China right now?
  2. Does it surprise you that the Chinese Communist Party has been attempting more ways to perform surveillance within our country, even if some of the methods are considered illegal?
  3. A special Senate Judiciary Committee has been investigating China over the past few months, but do you believe anything will come out of this investigation? And if so, can the United States really do anything against the Chinese Communist Party?
  4. What do you think about China’s dwindling finances? Do you believe, according to Biden, this could lead to desperate acts? Perhaps even a military strike?
  5. There’s been talk in the past about a possible war between the United States and China, with Russia possibly lending a hand to the latter. Do you believe this could actually happen, or will tempers eventually simmer down between Biden and Xi Jinping?
  6. Tell us more about your new book, Divided We Stand, and why it’s such a pivotal read, especially with what’s happening in the world today.
  7. Where can people purchase your new book?
    1. It’s available in both hardcover and Kindle form over on Amazon.
