Cities are losing Police Officers and are in crisis mode trying to replace them Guest: Michael Letts

Interview guest Michael Letts, Columbia, SC

Suggested host intro:

Cities are losing Police Officers and are in crisis mode trying to replace them. Our expert guest on this topic is police officer Michael Letts, who says the Defund the Police Movement has taken its toll, adding that if we do not unite and take immediate action, we could spiral into Anarchy and possibly a Third World country status. Welcome, Michael.

Q&A:

Answer: Rome wasn’t built in a day, but the Berlin Wall fell in a day. Once the resolve is lost to defend itself, nations fall quickly. When criminally-minded people saw that relatively few, if any, arrests are made, and police don’t fight back, criminals escalated their crimes. All it would take now for utter chaos would be for 3 or 4 cities with severely understaffed police departments to get overtaken by gangs, with the major news media sensationalizing it, and our nation could fall. Think about it. What would stop mobs for taking over the majority of large cities overnight in such a case? The key element here is restraint. Police are a wall of restraint to help prevent uprisings—especially in the case of potentially large uprisings.

Answer: The Wall Street Journal recently published an article concerning police departments losing officers and their struggle to replace them across the country. The Wall Street Journal is a well-respected and largely responsible news outlet. Unfortunately, there are many more that are not. Many large mainstream media outlets are in league with Defund the Police and their anti-police, anti-capitalism philosophy. They love showing Anarchy in cities with radicals throwing bricks through business windows and ransacking their establishments. The media makes it look like fun and games. Now that the damage is done and police are so demonized and demoralized that they are resigning their professions, primarily due to the media’s portrayal of the mobs as if they were freedom fighters, we’re seeing some in the media bemoaning the police officer shortage, ignoring the fact that they were largely responsible for creating the current crisis.

Answer: Imagine the chaos and fear when you call 9-11 to report an armed burglar, rapist, or assailant attempting entry to your home, only to be told there is no one available to respond, and it could be hours or days…or you get a recording to please leave a message. Let that sink in for a minute. So how have we gotten to this point in history?

Answer: Consider the following progression of a well-thought-out strategy to control our society. It’s hard to control well-armed people who have a legacy of nearly 250 years of freedom and liberty. But what if you can control an enforcement arm loyal to one central power that will enforce mandates and disarmament? It quickly becomes a different story. Defund the conservative elements from the police, and hire radicals to wear a uniform. By defunding German police and replacing them with his Brown Shirts, Hitler did this very thing. And it can happen to US. The mainstream media has already begun this process.

First and foremost, they demonized local and state law enforcement officers.  Then they helped foment high profile racial cases like George Floyd’s, among many others that immediately whitewash any criminal or negative aspect to the so-called “victim.” Forget about the rap sheet, outstanding warrants, previous arrests, and current circumstances that caused the current crisis in question…..you see, it’s simple…..assailants, rapists, murders, etc. are people with feelings too ( they choose to ignore that fact on their victims), and as such their actions should be understood and those mean, racist+, officers are automatically guilty of abusing their rights…..we can’t have that!! They are guilty ‘til proven innocent. Then, of course, they and their family bear the burden, trauma, cost of just doing their job. Is it any wonder so many are switching jobs?

Answer: Then, make a concerted effort across America to incite lawlessness, rioting, looting, and chaos through BLM, Antifa, etc. and order officers trained to uphold law and order to stand down and have their fellow citizens think they are buffoons, lazy, unwilling to do their jobs…Anything at all is fair game if it presents a horrible image of police to their neighbors. It would be most helpful also to pursue not funding necessary protective gear and, while at it, just defund them all together! Depriving police of bulletproof vests is like painting a target on them. And all this is done while police are generally on the low pay scale. This is highly insulting to our America’s Heroes. All the while, asking these brave men and women to risk death daily to protect people who are biting the hands that protect them.

Answer: Thank a police officer whenever you can. Let them know you appreciate them and their work to get re-excited about their career in law enforcement from the sense of community they may begin to feel once again.
