Charlie Kirk – The Tragic Loss of a Second Amendment Hero

A spokesman for the Second Amendment Foundation discusses the assassination of the Turning Point USA founder, and the growth in political violence.

The sudden assassination of 31-year old influencer and Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk has sent a majority of the nation reeling.

Although there are a few sick-minded individuals celebrating the death of the social media influencer, his impact has spoken volumes – especially when it comes to his work with gun right groups, such as the Gun Owners of America.

“Charlie Kirk has been a leading voice for educating college students and young adults about their constitutionally-protected rights that we hold dear,” the group noted in a press release.

“Our prayers are with his family and all those who are affected during this difficult time.”

Erich Pratt, who serves as Senior Vice President of Gun Owners of America, added, “Charlie Kirk founded TPUSA to inspire a generation of young leaders to fight for constitutional principles. His vision has empowered youth nationwide, and we have been honored to support that mission. The violence towards Charlie and other conservative political figures is evil and uncalled for. Now, more than ever, our right to defend ourselves against those who would do us harm must be protected.”

So what happens now? A spokesman for the Gun Owners of America – either Mark Jones or Stephen Willeford – join us to discuss the situation further. We welcome them to the show.
