Certain Protests Against Climate Change Aren’t the Right Way To Go, Some Experts Note – But What Is? (Guest: Guy Mitchell)

Author Guy Mitchell weighs in on the protests against what’s happening with the global climate.

A new Fox news article discusses how some people are taking things to extremes when it comes to protesting what’s happening with global warming and climate control issues – but some believe that’s not the right way to go about it.

While some have been destroying famous paintings and stopping freeways with their actions, Danielle Butcher, executive vice president for the American Conservation Coalition, notes that these aren’t making the kind of impact the protestors are hoping for.

“Activists are trying to deface property and artwork specifically because it is shocking,” she told the outlet. “The tactics, they’re focused on sparking conversation, whatever that means, but they’re not actually helping the environment tangibly.”

She added, “I saw the video of them throwing soup on a van Gogh, and I immediately cringed. It hurt to see, and I think that’s what they are going for.”

So is there a right way to go about getting the message across, or is the voice simply just not being heard in any regard? Here to speak on this matter is Guy Mitchell, the author of Global Warming: The Great Deception – The Triumph of Dollars and Politics Over Science and Why You Should Care. His expertise on this matter should be quite useful.

Q&A

  1. What do you personally think about these protests that have resulted in freeways getting shut down or paintings getting destroyed? Are they a meaningless act of extremism?
  2. The question is, are the powers that be listening anyway when it comes to any sort of climate control discussion? It seems that Egypt’s recent COP27 summit seemed to lean in one direction, with no room for argument.
  3. If someone were to try and make their voice heard, what do you believe is the best way to go about it? Or should they even bother at this point considering most governments have their minds made up?
  4. Do you believe governments may be using intimidation to their advantage? To the point that there’s a reason the argument seems to be very one-sided against fossil fuels?
  5. Do you think these protests will continue in the months ahead, with people possibly getting more “extreme” with their actions in an effort to make their voices heard?
  6. Tell us more about your latest book, Global Warming: The Great Deception – The Triumph of Dollars and Politics Over Science and Why You Should Care, and why it’s such a relevant read right now, especially with what’s happening.
  7. Where can we find more information about Global Warming or pick up a copy of your book, Global Warming: The Great Deception?

My website is full of scientific facts, charts, and scholarly articles clarifying so-called Climate Change. The website is GlobalWarmingDeception.com. That’s GlobalWarmingDeception.com. My book, Global Warming: The Great Deception, is available for purchase on Amazon, and there’s also a Kindle version.
