Chinese Christians Persecuted by same Chinese Communist Party that Persecutes Falun Gong
If Christians in China have a natural ally, it’s Falun Gong. Americans are quite familiar with Christianity. They know Christians as peaceful, prayerful, family-centered people who should never be persecuted for their beliefs.
What many Americans may not realize is that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has also become synonymous with Chinese Christian Persecution—in fact, one could say “CCP” now stands for both. Just as it persecutes Christians, the CCP has waged an unrelenting campaign against practitioners of Falun Gong, a peaceful spiritual discipline rooted in meditation and the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
At first glance, Falun Gong may still seem unfamiliar to many Americans. Yet, the similarities with Christianity are striking. Both faiths encourage moral living, kindness, and selflessness. Both seek to elevate the human spirit. And both are now under siege from the CCP.
That’s not a coincidence.
For years, Falun Gong practitioners in China have faced imprisonment, torture, and propaganda campaigns designed to dehumanize them. Now, the CCP is escalating its persecution of Christians as well—bulldozing churches, censoring sermons, and jailing pastors. The message from Beijing is unmistakable: no belief system can exist above the Party.
This is where the story becomes urgent for American audiences. Religious freedom is not just an abstract principle enshrined in our Constitution; it is a living, breathing value that defines us as a people. When the CCP crushes peaceful believers—whether Falun Gong practitioners or Christians—it is not simply committing human rights violations inside China. It is exporting a model of control, intimidation, and censorship that threatens freedom everywhere.
A spokesman for Falun Dafa can provide clarity, context, and moral urgency. He can explain how the CCP’s propaganda machine works to smear faith groups into silence. He can detail how persecution is carried out in practice, from arbitrary detention to “reeducation” campaigns. And most importantly, he can draw the connection between what is happening to Christians in China and what has long been happening to Falun Gong practitioners.
This perspective reframes the issue for American audiences: the persecution of Falun Gong is not a niche concern, but part of a broader war on faith itself. If the CCP can crush one peaceful belief system, it can crush them all. That reality should resonate with every American who cherishes the right to believe freely and live according to conscience.
This is not only a China story—it is a universal story about faith, freedom, and the courage to stand against tyranny.
