Americans Can Check in Anytime they Like; Leaving is the Problem
A spokesman for Falun Dafa is available for interviews to discuss the recent revelations that dozens of Americans are being blocked from leaving China under coercive “exit bans.” While the CCP denies wrongdoing, this quiet yet powerful form of control is familiar to those who have studied China’s tactics—and lived through them.
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) has long warned of “soft persecution” and “Unrestricted Warfare,” concepts that define how the Chinese Communist Party operates without declaring formal war. These tactics—economic coercion, legal traps, transnational repression, hostage diplomacy—have been weaponized against Chinese citizens for decades. Now, Americans are experiencing a much softer version of the same mechanisms that Falun Gong practitioners have endured for 26 years: forced disappearances, state-backed extortion, and extralegal punishment under a facade of legal authority.
The exit bans are not just bureaucratic overreach; they’re part of the CCP’s well-documented strategy of using fear and control to assert dominance beyond its borders. From a Falun Dafa perspective, this is not a new development—it’s the global expansion of an old system of abuse. What’s happening to these American citizens today provides a very slight window into how Falun Gong practitioners were targeted: first demonized, then isolated, then trapped.
American Leeshai Lemish went to Tiananment Square in 2001 to protest, with little more than a camera and a sign. That day, he was arrested, thrown in jail, and suffered a broken jaw before being sent home.
Falun Dafa speakers can offer deep insight into the CCP’s playbook and how Americans, corporations, and institutions are increasingly caught in it. With family members of Falun Gong practitioners still unable to leave China—or simply disappearing—this story hits close to home.
Your audience will gain not only a firsthand perspective on CCP repression but also a broader understanding of how persecution is evolving into global policy under the guise of diplomacy and law.
We’d be honored to schedule a guest for your next broadcast or segment.
