- Why did you make the film, “Bleeding Blue”?
Answer: Because there are so many misconceptions surrounding policing in America. Our team wanted to tell a balanced story.
- What are some of the biggest misconceptions?
Answer: The stats. Whites are actually killed in larger numbers than blacks, particularly based on the number of law enforcement encounters.
American Indians are actually killed in greater numbers than any race, per capita.
- Why is the black community considered anti-police?
Answer: Because the small percentage of blacks who are anti-LEO get the most coverage. Blacks are 7 times more likely to call police than whites
- What role does BLM play?
Answer: Perpetuation of a lie. Roughly 250 blacks are killed by cops each year, with less than 20 questionable deaths. But over 7500 blacks are killed on average by other blacks. The math doesn’t belie the cop problem
