JFKirk: Public Assassinations in Broad Daylight and in Full View that Carry Stench of Cover-up Conspiracy
Dr. David W. Mantik, M.D., Ph.D., a medical physicist and radiation oncologist who has spent decades analyzing the autopsy X-rays and photographs of President John F. Kennedy, says the eerie parallels between JFK’s assassination and the recent shooting of Charlie Kirk are “too precise to ignore.”
Mantik’s expertise is in optical density measurements of X-rays.
Both JFK and Kirk were struck down in broad daylight, both officially by “lone gunmen” wielding rifles from elevated positions, and both before live cameras that captured the moment in real time. And in a detail that almost belies coincidence — both attacks occurred within minutes of each other by local time: JFK at 12:30 p.m. in Dallas, and Kirk at 12:23 p.m. in Utah.
Dr. Mantik, who has examined the JFK case with unparalleled forensic precision, notes that “the instant labeling of a lone shooter, the murky ballistics, and the absence of transparency by officials all form a pattern — one that echoes across generations.”
In each case, the public was told that the story was simple: a deranged individual, a tragic coincidence, an open-and-shut case. Yet the evidence, in both instances, tells a more complicated story. Witnesses report discrepancies in the sound of the shots, missing or withheld footage, and immediate inconsistencies between initial reports and official statements. Both events sparked instant speculation about a patsy and the possibility of a cover-up designed to seal off deeper political motives.
Even the media response followed the same rhythm — initial chaos, quick consensus, and the near-total absence of independent forensic review. “We may be seeing history not just repeat itself, but being rewritten in real time,” Mantik observes. “In both the JFK and Kirk cases, the most crucial evidence is locked away or tightly controlled. The public is told to ‘move on,’ while the real questions remain unanswered.”
Mantik’s work on the Kennedy case revealed manipulation within the official autopsy record — altered X-rays, contradictory eyewitness accounts, and suppressed medical data. He fears a similar “evidence vacuum” is already forming around the Kirk shooting, where independent access to video, ballistics, and autopsy results is being carefully restricted.
“What began in Dealey Plaza may still be echoing through history,” Mantik says. “We must not allow another national trauma to be buried under the weight of official silence.”

- What first struck you about the similarities between the JFK and Charlie Kirk shootings?
- Do you believe the near-identical timing of both attacks—just minutes apart by local time—is mere coincidence?
- How does the “lone gunman” narrative in the Kirk case compare to what you uncovered in the JFK investigation?
- Are there any patterns in how evidence is being controlled or withheld that remind you of the Kennedy autopsy files?
- What role does modern video footage play in shaping or distorting the official story, compared to the Zapruder film?
- Do you see signs that a “patsy” narrative is being manufactured again in the Kirk case?
- What lessons from your study of the JFK autopsy should guide independent investigators now?
- Do you think the Kirk assassination could finally expose a broader historical pattern of coordinated deception?
ABOUT DR. DAVID MANTIK…
An M.D. and Ph.D., David Mantik spent many years in private practice in Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert, California. More recently, he became a peripatetic radiation oncologist. He is currently licensed in eight states and has also worked in Hawaii and New Zealand.
In his spare time, Mantik writes about the JFK assassination and has made some amazing discoveries. He spent nine full days at the National Archives to view (and perform measurements on) the JFK autopsy X-rays, the autopsy photographs, JFK’s clothing and the ballistic artifacts. So, we now know that the Warren Commission was not very interested in the truth, but that indifference still seems to afflict Washington, DC. In 2024, Mantik co-authored the book, The Final Analysis with Dr. Jerome Corsi.
