Amici Women Hurt By Abortion Explain Why American Women Will Be Better Off Now And They Are Glad The Supreme Court Read Their Brief and That Roe v. Wade is Reversed

Spokespersons for Operation Outcry (www.operationoutcry.org) are willing to talk to you about why they filed an Amicus brief in the Dobbs case, asking the Court to reverse Roe v. Wade, which the Court has done.

You can now hear from some of these women who had abortions about the “devastating psychological consequences”and why they believe America and American women, instead of getting an abortion, are better off using the free Safe Haven law in every state.

The Supreme Court heard these women’s voices. Now American needs to hear their stories!

The U.S. Supreme Court admitted in Planned Parenthood v. Casey that abortion causes “devastating psychologicalconsequences” to women. In Gonzales v. Carhart, the Court acknowledged abortion causes “severe depression and loss of esteem.”

The Safe Haven law allows a woman to release a baby at a hospital, fire station or other designated place within a certain period of time after birth without any payment of money and without an abortion (killing of a child) or abortion-related trauma to the mothers. See www.nationalsafehavenalliance.org.

These women who had abortions will explain how their abortions devastated them and millions of otherwomen, and explain why women will be better off now with Safe Haven that Roe v. Wade is dead.

Potential Questions:

  1. Why did your abortion experience make you want to file an Amicus brief in the Dobbs case asking the Court to reverse Roe v. Wade? Are you glad Roe is reversed?
  2. Don’t women need abortion in some situations?
  3. Are you the only woman that has been hurt by abortion, or do you know others?
  4. Is there a way to recover from the devastating psychological injuries of abortion?
  5. Where would you tell people to get help? (www.operationoutcry.org) Here are some of the women and their statements:

Cindy Collinswww.operationoutcry.org, says, “In 1973, I was told my baby was a blob, and my problem would be over with. It’s been almost 50 years of living with physical complications and the emotional wounds of the lie ofRoe…the lie that abortion is good for women. It is time for the lie of Roe to end and for women hurt by abortion to be heard and our lives to be healed.”

As a woman who was harmed and unable to have children because of the abortion procedure, I say thank you forprotecting women and children in our nation once again. I pray each state will now agree with this court decision and protect the woman and babies in each of their states.”
