New York Times and other ‘Media’ Outlets Choose Communists OVER Terror Victims
Is it not terrifying to be threatened with mass murder? That IS terrorism. Twenty times since March, Chinese dancers and musicians have been on the receiving end of such terror threats. Yet many mainstream media outlets have ignored those threats―20 times. As if that isn’t enough injustice, those outlets―with the New York Times in the lead, actually write hit pieces on the dancers and musicians, the victims of terror.
Apparatchiks of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have launched twenty death threats at Chinese dancers since March of 2024. Let me say that again – TWENTY death threats. These threats come in the form of emails that threaten to either detonate bombs or unleash mass shooters inside theaters where Shen Yun is performing.
Yet, media outlets like the New York Times and the Sydney Morning Herald apparently have no interest in that. They only care about smearing Shen Yun with false accusations and hit pieces. Whether these smears have to do with vilifying Shen Yun for making money, mistreating its dancers, or simply acting as a propaganda arm for Falun Gong, they have something else in common.
They ignore threats of mass murder to dancers, musicians, and theater attendees. To be sure, Shen Yun’s Leeshai Lemish―who was present when the bomb threat to the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC came in last week―insists that these threats seek to intimidate the performers and ticket holders more than anything else. That doesn’t make them any less real.
Still, the likes of the New York Times and the Sydney Herald are intentionally missing the elephant in the room here. By smearing Shen Yun and ignoring terror threats, these media arms are actually siding with the Chinese Communists. These aren’t just threats to commit terrorism against American citizens, they are likely tied back to the leadership of a geopolitical adversary―The Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
And mainstream publications target the terror victims.
“Can’t they at least denounce terrorism?” Lemish rhetorically asks.
