Amen and Awoman?

Gender Insanity Takes Over the Democrats

Israel Mayor David Rubin available to interview

Intro:

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO), an ordained United Methodist pastor, altered the traditional ending of “amen” by saying “Amen and Awoman” as he delivered the opening prayer for the 117th Congress. Just a day earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had introduced new House rules that she said will help the body to become more inclusive. A 45-page package that will be voted on Monday strips all mention of gender-specific pronouns and terms such as “man,” “woman,” “mother” and “son.”

David Rubin, former Mayor of Shiloh, Israel and author of “Trump and the Jews” is calling this, “gender insanity based on ignorance”. According to Rubin, who is fluent in both English and Hebrew, “With all due respect to the well-intentioned congressman, he does not have a clue when it comes to the meaning of ‘Amen’. Amen actually is an acronym that comes from three Hebrew letters that are joined together. It has absolutely nothing to do with gender.”

Here to explain what he calls “gender insanity” is David Rubin.

Suggested Questions:

  1. What is gender insanity? Gender insanity is when politically loaded attributes are given to words that have absolutely nothing to do with gender.
  2. Okay, let’s examine this. Representative Cleaver, instead of ending his prayer with “Amen” ended it with “Amen and Awoman”, obviously trying to be gender inclusive What’s wrong with that? It makes absolutely no sense. Amen comes from the Hebrew word Amen, which is pronounced “Ah-men”, and which means “I agree” or, if you’re a lawyer, it means, “I second the motion”. The word Amen comes from its Hebrew letters “Aleph, Mem, and Nun, which are derived from three other Hebrew words, which together spell out the words, “God is a faithful king.” Since in Hebrew, we also refer to God in feminine forms like “Modim Anachnu Lach”, which means “We thank you” in the Feminine Form , it proves that the word Amen has nothing at all to do with gender.
  3. In that case, was it just a poor choice of words stemming from Congressman Cleaver not being fluent in the Hebrew language? It’s actually much worse than ignorance. It’s gender insanity. When we aggressively change words to make them gender-neutral, we bastardize the language, any language, so it’s inevitable that ridiculous mistakes like this will be made.
  4. That being said, what is the solution when a language is so male-dominated? The solution is not to act like there is no such thing as gender by calling everyone “it” or “they”! One solution is that when we are talking about a person in a genuinely gender-neutral context, we can sometimes say “he” and sometimes “she”, or sometimes “he or she”, but to eliminate the use of words like “father” and “mother”, as Nancy Pelosi and her radical colleagues are trying to do, is politically-motivated insanity that is intended to destroy the traditional family, which is the foundation of the Judeo-Christian civilization on which the United States was founded.
  5. President Trump has been fighting for the past four years against this politically correct insanity. Where can people get a copy of your book “Trump and the Jews? They can get a copy at www.DavidRubinIsrael.com or go to Amazon and type in the words, Trump and the Jews.
