The pastor for El Shaddai Ministries discusses the findings and how concerning it is for people within those schools.
A report from The New York Times has revealed that, per Israeli officials, at least 24 people employed by UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip were members of Gaza terrorist groups, including Hamas. What’s more, a number of these people actually held senior positions, including principal and vice principal. They were reportedly tied in with the Al-Qassam Brigades, the group’s military wing.
This creates a serious problem within the schools, as one of the documents taken in by the IDF indicates that Hamas was planning to use the school buildings for weapon storage, as well as the opportunity for them to become “the best obstacles to protect the resistance (Hamas).”
There’s no word if the staffers are still there, and if these plans are still in place following the publishing of the report. But the fact Hamas would stoop as low to use schools for potential weapon storage and other nefarious purposes is a cause for concern.
