The CompassCare CEO explains how the recent death of Pat Robertson is another example of the growing American void of Christian, moral leadership.
Pat Robertson, one of the most noteworthy figures in religious broadcasting, passed away on Thursday at the age of 93. Over the course of his career, he helped turn a small Virginia station into the powerhouse that is the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Similarly, the recent deaths of Rev. Charles Stanley and Rev. Billy Graham, known as Pastor to the Presidents, illustrate the dearth of moral leadership in America. Instead of men standing on what is morally right, there are preachers turned politician, teaching what is politically expedient.
The only question, then, is who, or what, comes next? Joining us now to discuss this further is Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of CompassCare, a network of pro-life pregnancy centers, standing strong in the face of literal fire while calling for a return to God and a civilized order. Pat Robinson and his 700 Club, over 30 years ago, covered Rev. Harden and his precedent-setting religious liberty battle against Florida Public Schools.
