Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts demands police funding support following the devastating attack.
A 24-year old man has been apprehended following a shooting of two police officers this past Wednesday, with one currently on life support. The officers were responding to reports of a person in crisis when they came face to face with David Emory Linthicum, who fired upon them.
Following Linthicum’s arrest, this leads to questions surrounding violence against police officers. Recently, police have become the target of many protestors and angry citizens, including members of Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA. Consequently thousands of police officers have left their positions, resulting in an increase in crime in many cities. These include Portland, New York and Seattle.
So what can be done about this? With us now to discuss the matter further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with 30 years of experience under his belt.
