Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts discusses the upcoming address.
As President Joe Biden prepares for his next State of the Union, many domestic questions still require a truthful answer. The state of police and rising crime rates across many cities. What’s happening with inflation and a potential recession that could take place this year. And concerns surrounding COVID-19, and how mandated vaccinations have cost so many jobs (particularly those that refused to take them). All the crimes being committed by Chinese operatives need a forceful response.
It does leave some concern as to what direction Biden will take his address in just a few hours – and, for that matter, what he will do to act upon them.
Joining us now to discuss this further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Michael is president, founder and CEO for InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers, through various charitable groups and sponsorships.

- So let’s ask a big question here right off the bat – what do you think is taking so long for Biden and his administration to get approval on much-needed police budgeting? Is it something within Congress, or does the blame lie somewhere else?
- Do you think it’s concerning that Biden and his administration aren’t doing much to battle the rising criminal elements in some states, such as Portland, Seattle and New York? Why do you think there’s a lack of response? Could a proposal for a better military command structure be necessary?
- How frustrating is it to you that so many good police officers and military members lost their jobs simply because of mandated COVID-19 vaccines? Do you think Biden and his administration should work on a solution to get them re-employed? Or is that up to local governments?
- You’ve suggested in the past that Biden needs to face some sort of military tribunal in an effort to correct what’s happening with the state of justice. Do you still think this is a viable solution?
- What would you say is the biggest setback when it comes to getting police officers employed? A lack of funding? A lack of experience? Perhaps both?
- Nearly three years after the argument took place, it turns out “defund the police” wasn’t effective in the least, based on the officers that have left or lost their jobs and criminal rates on the rise in numerous cities. Why do you think certain politicians are still convinced that this was the correct route to take? Can anything be done to change their minds?
- Some believe that the “woke” movement is destroying a heavy amount of morale in this country. Do you think it’s time to “de-woke” the whole process, as it were? What steps can we take in this?
