The overturning of Roe by the United States Supreme Court legitimized state laws regulating abortion. Twenty-two state attorneys general and two judges have taken action to undermine the Constitution by bowing to the whims of the violent masses. Meanwhile, there has been no action on the part of state attorneys general to protect pro-life people and organizations under pro-abortion terrorist attack and escalating threats.
Q&A:
- Are judges blocking state abortion bans now that Roe has been reversed?
Answer: Judges in Utah and Louisiana have issued temporary blocks on abortion bans, restricting abortion in their states, abusing their position to undermine the Constitution rather than uphold their oath.
- Should a judge who blocks a state’s abortion laws be impeached?
Answer: A judge takes an oath to uphold the Constitution and laws of the land. The Dobbs case, reversing Roe, said that preborn boys and girls are people to be protected under the law. If a judge is unable remain unbiased, he is morally and legally obligated to recuse himself or resign. CompassCare CEO, Jim Harden, says, “Judges and attorneys who refuse are undermining the Constitution, violating their oath of office, and ought to be impeached.”
- As the chief law enforcement officer in their states, what are state attorneys general doing to protect the laws and citizens of their states?
Answer: While no attorneys general have allocated any state resources to proactively investigate terrorist threats made against pro-life people and organizations, twenty-two attorneys general submitted a collective statement promising, “If you seek access to abortion…, we’re committed to using the full force of the law to support you.” Jim Harden has been calling on states attorneys general to proactively protect pro-life organizations and people. Instead, twenty-two attorneys general are using their official, law enforcement capacity as a platform for social activism, undermining the Constitution.
