The majority of Americas say that local crime is getting worse. That’s according to a new Gallup poll. The dismal outlook was terrible enough last yeast when Gallup showed 38% of people believed crime was up in their local areas. But this latest survey shows 51% of the people were convinced that local crime is rising.
Should we be surprised? With all the pressure from the Defund the Police movement for police to stop fighting crime, is it any wonder that crime would rise?
While the 2021 numbers are not in yet, murders in 2020 rose by a whopping 29%, the most significant spike since record-keeping began in 1960.

Answer: There are many factors contributing to this rise in violent crim. BLM/Antifa, and Defund the Police movement are among some of the primary reasons Violent crime is rising, and why American’s don’t feel safe.
