Netanyahu “Trust” Under Fire? (Guest: David Rubin)

Yair Golan believes the Israeli Prime Minister can’t launch another campaign against Iran.

It sounds like tension is stirring up again between Iran and the United States. But in the midst of that, some criticism has come against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – and former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin, founder and president of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund can’t help but wonder about such an opinion.

  • Democrats leader Yair Golan noted that Netanyahu lacks the “public trust” to launch a military campaign against Iran.
  • This comes as Iran and the United States are likely to enter another conflict.
  • Golan notes, “We’ve reached a state of recurring rounds against Iran. This is how great Netanyahu’s failure is.”
  • Thus far, Netanyahu’s bloc has secured just 53 out of 120 Knesset seats from last week’s election.
  • Netanyahu has not responded, and there’s no word on Israel’s involvement with any sort of conflict.

Democrats leader Yair Golan has noted that there’s a lack of confidence when it comes to Netanyahu preparing any sort of military strategy against Iran.

“The chance of another confrontation with Iran is increasing,” Golan noted on social media. “We’ve reached a state of recurring rounds against Iran. This is how great Netanyahu’s failure is.”

He continued, “Netanyahu lacks the necessary public trust to manage such a campaign. Nor does he have any moral legitimacy or even basic capability.”

He did note that himself, along with others like Yair Lapid and Gadi Eisenkot, “know the security system very well. We have experience, ability, and deep familiarity with the system. We are committed to working together for Israel’s security.”

But he couldn’t help but get one more jab in at Netanyahu. “Meanwhile, Netanyahu, Israel Katz, and Ben Gvir continue to hold the key positions. This is a danger to Israel. It must end.”

Does Golan have a point about the needing of a change in Israel? Or is this simply another critical jab at Netanyahu, who’s served so long as Prime Minister?

Mayor Rubin joins us now to discuss the situation further. We welcome him to the show!
