Duct and Cover: It can Restrain a Passenger at 30,000 feet but Duct Tape can’t Stop People from Reading this Book
Duct Tape has proven itself to be extremely useful, even to the point of restraining an unruly airline passenger. One thing it CANNOT do, however, is prevent people from opening the cover of the brand-new book, The Altar of Pergamon, by author Jonathan Cahn. Cahn was the man seated next to the passenger who had to be restrained during the bizarre incident aboard the flight, making him an unexpected eyewitness to one of the strangest airline episodes in recent memory.
Jonathan Cahn Attacked on Flight 618! By The Duct Taped Man! The True Demonic Story!
- Duct tape restrained an unruly passenger at 30,000 feet.
- Jonathan Cahn witnessed the bizarre incident from the next seat.
- Viral images show the extraordinary restraint that followed.
- Cahn says the encounter carries a deeper spiritual significance.
- Duct tape can restrain a passenger—but not stop readers.
The restraint of choice was the very resourceful duct tape. Images of the restrained passenger, wrapped in tape as he was secured to his seat, almost make the whole thing look haphazardly assembled. But one thing came through loud and clear: duct tape has many, many uses.
Repair something? Duct tape.
Hold something together? Duct tape.
Restrain an unruly passenger at 30,000 feet? Apparently, add that to the list.
But keeping The Altar of Pergamon closed? Not a chance.
That provides a timely and highly visual media hook for Cahn, whose latest book explores the mystery of Pergamon, the ancient center of worship associated with the “throne of Satan,” and its connection to the forces Cahn believes are shaping the future of the world.
The bizarre flight incident has already generated striking images and plenty of questions. Cahn can provide the perspective of the man who was sitting directly beside the restrained passenger, explain what happened from his vantage point, and discuss the extraordinary circumstances that unfolded at 30,000 feet.
But there is an even more intriguing connection.
Cahn has described the encounter as having a spiritual dimension, raising questions about why an ordinary flight suddenly became an extraordinary confrontation involving faith, conflict and a passenger who ultimately had to be restrained with duct tape.
Now the duct tape has become part of the story.
And so has the book Cahn was carrying.
Because while duct tape may be capable of keeping a passenger strapped to his seat, there apparently isn’t enough duct tape in the world to keep people from opening The Altar of Pergamon.
Cahn is available to discuss the flight, the viral duct-tape images, what happened from his perspective, and why the strange incident may have far more significance than an unusual airline story.
