Can an AI Capable of “Hacking Anything,” Hack A Nuclear Weapons Launch?
“AI Could Kill Us All by The End of the Decade.”
“Super Intelligence” whistleblowers at Anthropic Corporation, the company behind Claude, are sounding alarm bells about AI’s potential to threaten humanity, warning that future systems could “hack anything.” Former Google contractor Indy Pederson, author of Sacrificing Humanity, has been warning about this threat for years and recalls one young AI researcher at Google telling him, “I’m building Terminator.” The warnings from inside Anthropic now appear to echo Pederson’s long-standing concerns that humanity may be racing toward a technology it ultimately cannot control.
Three highly respected and qualified people at Anthropic Corporation, best known for creating Claude, a ChatGPT competitor, have issued stark warnings. Their specialties include oversight of AI growth. Each is signaling that not only is the threat real, but they are increasingly unable to provide the oversight required and say humanity itself is at risk.

Whistleblower and up until recently, Anthropic employee, Jacob Coxon generated headlines with his warnings. Then, a more senior Anthropic employee, Evan Hubinger reinforced those warnings, when he said, “Jacob is correct…we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is > 10% within the next decade.” It didn’t end there. A third Anthropic employee stated, “AI developers believe their technology could cause human extinction (or similarly bad outcomes). This could happen in the next few years. In general, the more senior the employee, the more concerned they are.”
Following those three warnings, the Anthropic CEO, Dario Amodei, publicly called for slowing the pace of frontier-AI.
What is not being discussed on MSM is Coxon’s resignation statement that described future systems as potentially able to “hack anything” and acquire resources, thus being able to hack our nuclear weapons launch codes! Pederson says, “This isn’t just speculation, on three occasions a ‘Superintelligence’ (UAP) has already “hacked” in some way, our nuclear missiles, and one time entered the nuclear launch codes. This is how I start page one of my book of a script humanity is playing out!”
On September 9, 2025, investigative journalist George Knapp testified before the U.S. House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.
Knapp described the Soviet incident and said:
“Something entered the correct codes.”
He continued that the missiles were powered up and ready for launch and that the Soviet officers could not shut the system down!
This was not the only case! In another case, Golf Flight, where the U.S. “ICBM targeting codes had been mysteriously altered or erased” and couldn’t hit their designated targets.
There is a third case, USAF Captain David H. Schuur told author Hastings that a UFO “temporarily activated a U.S. nuclear missile.”

In Sacrificing Humanity, page one begins with superintelligence hacking the launch codes of our ICBMs and entering the correct code to launch them. When Pederson was a contractor at Google, he met people building Superintelligence including one very young woman with master’s degrees in Machine Learning and Neuroscience who had the hubris to say when Pederson asked her what work she is doing at Google said, “I am building Terminator.”
Pederson says Superintelligence has already demonstrated it can hack our nuclear launch codes when a form of “superintelligence” (a UAP) over a U.S. nuclear launch site hacked the nuclear launch codes and entered the correct codes! Pederson cautions, “They are not saying today’s ChatGPT (that I use hours every single day) is going to exterminate humanity; they are talking about a specific system called Superintelligence, when AI can operate autonomously and can’t be stopped or shut down.”

ABOUT INDY PEDERSON…
Indy Pederson is a researcher, Patagonia business owner, and author whose work focuses on the intersection of military history, ancient sacred texts, symbolism, and modern technology. Drawing on interviews of major players in nuclear war in 30 countries for over two-years of non-stop world travel including: walking into the KGB offices in Moscow and interviewing them; interviewing Colonel Yablonski, the head of the Nuclear START Agreement in Moscow; interviewing a lieutenant colonel and two generals inside Cheyenne Mountain; going deep underground in Missouri’s launch control center; interviewing Navy officials at Bangor sub base in Washington, and all the nuclear sites in Wyoming and Colorado, Pederson approaches nuclear war not as a hypothetical scenario but as an existential certainty unless humanity fundamentally changes course.
