In Matthew 24, Jesus warned that before His return there would be “famines and earthquakes in various places,” adding, “All these are the beginning of birth pains.” Biltz contends that large-scale earthquakes are now occurring in greater numbers than at any other time in recorded history—and that, like a woman’s contractions, these prophetic birth pangs will increase in frequency and intensity as the “delivery,” the coming of Messiah, draws nearer.
