But Will Iran Accept?

The U.S. has turned in yet another proposal to end its conflict with Iran. Now…how will it answer?

As conflict continues between the U.S. and Iran, a new proposal has been presented that could bring it to an end – or perhaps escalate it. Whatever the case, Mark Biltz and Grant Berry are wondering what comes next.

The 14-page peace proposal brings about several key points that Tehran are “evaluating,” with one Pakistan official believing that “the prospect of a proposal to end the war is very likely in the coming days.”

That said, this appears to be a breaking point, based on recent comments by U.S. President Donald Trump. He noted that the war “will be at an end” should Iran agree to the proposals, meaning that conflict will conclude, traffic could likely continue through the Strait of Hormuz, and oil prices would result in the rising cost of gas to go down.

However, it turns out that’s a very big “if.” Trump also notes that if Iran did not agree to the proposal, “the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before.”

So at this rate, the conflict will either conclude or rapidly increase, making an already tense situation even worse.

With that, either Mark Biltz, who serves as Pastor of El Shaddai Ministries, or Grant Berry, founder of Reconnecting Ministries, joins us now to discuss what happens next. We welcome them to the show.

Q&A:

  1. So let’s just flat out ask the big question here. Will Iran accept the U.S.’ latest proposal? Or will the situation get much worse?
  2. What is essentially the end goal of this war? To stop Iran’s tyranny? Or is there another big focus at this point in time?
  3. Why has Iran been so back and forth on accepting the terms provided by the U.S. thus far? Are they really that stubborn? Or is there something that they’re trying to protect?
  4. If the bombing continues, will there be any path to peace at this point? And, for that matter, how will this affect Israel?
  5. Where do you see the situation ultimately concluding in the months ahead? With the absolute defeat of Iran?
  6. FOR GRANT: Tell us more about the Romans 911 audiobook, as well as the Romans 911 podcast.
