Unstable Nation: Iranian Regime Melting Down as U.N. Security Resolution to Stop Reimposition of Sanctions gets VAPORIZED; ‘Thousands’ set to Protest at U.N. Next week
If the Iranian regime ever considered the United Nations as a place of friendly confines, it’s definitely re-thinking that position now. A U.N. Security Council resolution designed to stop the reimposition of sanctions on Iran’s nuclear program just got vaporized. Only China, Russia, Pakistan, and Algeria voted to support Iran and protect the repressive regime from sanctions. In addition to that, “thousands” are expected to descend on New York City, outside the United Nations, to demand the ouster of the Iranian regime.
The geopolitical stars are aligning in New York, and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) is poised to seize the moment. For years, the Iranian regime has counted on global indecision to buy time for its nuclear ambitions. Now, with the UN Security Council preparing to vote on restoring sanctions and European nations signaling they are ready to get tough, Tehran is facing pressure on multiple fronts at the United Nations.
“Thousands” of people demanding justice for the Iranian people and regime change in that country, are expected outside the United Nations General Assembly.
Having limited Availability as speakers are the following individuals, who will be standing with NCRI at the United Nations: Ambassador Carla Sands, former U.S. Senator Sam Brownback, General Tod Wolters, former NATO Commander, and Linda Chavez, former White House Office of Public Liaison will be among the prominent American dignitaries joining thousands of Iranians in New York this month to stand against the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights abuses and nuclear provocations.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has been calling for regime change in Iran and is available to provide context on this huge development. Deputy Director Alireza Jafarzadeh, Member of Parliament in Exile Shahin Gobadi, and others are available for interviews.
The mounting pressure will not just come from diplomats behind closed doors. Outside the United Nations, thousands of Iranian Americans and supporters of freedom in Iran are expected to rally in an unprecedented protest organized by the NCRI. The message is direct and unmistakable: the regime in Tehran has lost all legitimacy, and only the Iranian people have the right to decide the nation’s future.
Timing at United Nations a Confluence of Events
The timing could not be more consequential. On Tuesday, September 23rd, President Donald Trump will address the General Assembly (UNGA). Just one day later, Iran’s president will take the podium. The stark contrast will not be lost on the world. As Trump speaks, chants of freedom from thousands outside will remind him—and the international community—that the Iranian people demand change. When Iran’s president delivers his speech, it will be met not with respect, but with the unmistakable roar of rejection from the regime’s own people.
NCRI speakers will be available to discuss the significance of Europe’s apparent shift toward accountability and why that matters now. They will also highlight the growing momentum among Iranian Americans who, by gathering in force, are demonstrating that the regime’s propaganda no longer resonates beyond its shrinking circle of power.
Site is not Empty United Nations Symbolism
The protest is not symbolic theater; it is a declaration of intent. Every day the regime clings to power, Iran’s nuclear threat expands, repression deepens, and the Iranian people suffer. NCRI leaders insist that the only sustainable solution is regime change from within, powered by the will of the Iranian people and supported by a decisive international community.
With the world’s eyes on New York, the protest will serve as a referendum in real time: will the West stand with the people of Iran or continue to appease their oppressors? NCRI leaders say the answer has never been clearer—or more urgent.
