A spokesman for the Gun Owners of America discusses the recent actions taken against “Glock switches,” and how it could affect the rights of gun owners.
Once again, certain politicians are being a nuisance to private gun owners. This time, trying to make “Glock switches” even more illegal.
In the state of Pennsylvania, some Republicans are disappointingly teaming up with anti-gun Democrats to ban these conversion devices, which would modify Glock handguns for full-auto fire. These have already been targeted by the ongoing National Firearms Act (NFA), which has proven to be a thorn in the side of private gun owners already.
However, the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association, working alongside these local politicians, are now working even harder on legislation against these “Glock switches,” with some members even calling for Red Flag Gun Confiscation Orders.
While some may not see the importance of these “Glock switches,” the bigger picture isn’t hard to see. This is clearly a strike against the rights of private gun owners everywhere, and a step towards banning their freedom to own these devices.
That said, the Gun Owners of America are fighting back. Along with filing their “Big Beautiful Lawsuit” against the NFA months ago, they’re looking into ways to combat these ongoing efforts to ban gun accessories. After all, everyone has the right to arm themselves, as noted by the Second Amendment of the Constitution.
A spokesman for the group – either Mark Jones or Stephen Willeford – joins us now to discuss the new coalition further. We welcome them to the show!
