Chinese Communists OBSESS Over Hatred for Cultural Dancers
Some people are just always angry. When others are nice to them, it’s like placing hot coals on their heads. The more attention and praise the Shen Yun dance program receives from audiences, the more the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hates them. The more the CCP tries to shut down the dance – even outside China’s borders – the more the dancers perfect their craft and dance more. Their smiles also get broader because their core faith is about truth and compassion; they know they are bringing joy to people too.
The CCP cannot tolerate such happiness and joy. That is a primary reason why the Shen Yun dance is banned within China’s borders. However, that’s not enough for the CCP. They want this revitalized expression of ancient Chinese culture obliterated from the planet earth. They want its existence exterminated and any reference to it thrown onto the bonfire of books. In the form of modern day book burning tactics, prominent western media outlets are doing the bidding of the CCP by publishing hit pieces on Shen Yun.
Another way the CCP demonstrates their hatred for the Falun Gong purveyors of Shen Yun is through organ harvesting. The Falun Gong are a group of people that maintain healthy lifestyles, which makes them primary targets for such grotesque practices, also born of hatred and profit.
Shen Yun’s performances represent a stark contrast to the CCP’s values and ideology. While the CCP enforces strict control, censorship, and uniformity, Shen Yun celebrates individual expression, spiritual freedom, and the rich cultural heritage of ancient China—elements systematically erased by the Communist regime during the Cultural Revolution. It’s not just dance; it’s a message of hope, resilience, and an unyielding belief in universal human rights.
Communists hate that.
The CCP’s obsession with silencing Shen Yun has taken on astonishing forms. Beyond banning performances within China, they have used diplomatic pressure to coerce foreign governments and venues to cancel shows. They’ve resorted to cyberattacks on Shen Yun’s ticketing systems, spread disinformation campaigns, and even intimidated performers’ families still living in China. This level of interference reveals the CCP’s fear of what Shen Yun represents—a reawakening of the spirit and values that they’ve sought to crush for decades.
But their efforts have backfired. Every attempt to suppress Shen Yun only amplifies its mission and message. Audiences worldwide are drawn not just by the breathtaking choreography and stunning visual effects but by the courage and conviction of the performers. The standing ovations and sold-out venues send a resounding message: truth, beauty, and compassion cannot be silenced.
Joining us now is a spokesperson for Shen Yun to delve into the resilience of their mission, how they’ve navigated relentless attacks from the CCP, and what lies ahead for this extraordinary celebration of art and culture. Stay tuned for insights into the courage it takes to preserve a culture under siege and the power of dance to inspire and uplift across the globe.
With that, a spokesperson for Shen Yun joins us now to discuss this report further, as well as what lies ahead for the show.
