At one time, Kwame Kilpatrick was the mayor of Detroit, Michigan. Then, in 2013, he was sentenced to a 28-year prison sentence. While in prison, Kilpatrick underwent a transformation. Before Donald Trump left office in 2021, he commuted Kilpatrick’s sentence. Not only has Kilpatrick been a free man since that time but he never forgot what Trump did for him. Kilpatrick also has completely changed his views on God and many political issues.

When sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison and serving nearly eight, Kwame’s self-discovery and self-study would be one that would place him on a path of character development, spiritual growth, and preparation to be an effective change agent for organizations, institutions, and communities who are seeking sustainable behavioral and cultural change.
