The law enforcement veteran explains why the 25th Amendment must be invoked to correct Biden’s mistakes.
Earlier this week, President Joe Biden announced that he will not be running for re-election this fall, instead providing full support to his current Vice President, Kamala Harris, to be the nominee.
But some aren’t satisfied with his bow-out next year, and believe that he should leave earlier due to his declining mental condition.
Senator Eric Schmitt recently called upon members of the Cabinet to invoke the 25thAmendment in an effort to get Biden removed. “Joe Biden has decided he isn’t capable of being a candidate; in so doing his admission also means he cannot serve as President,” Schmitt noted to Fox News.
“Therefore, it is in the best immediate interest of the safety of the United States for Joe Biden to resign from office or face removal under the 25th Amendment.”
He noted how Americans have “fought to stay afloat financially, have seen America’s standing on the world stage diminished, and have been pushed aside in favor of illegal aliens flooding across our Southern border.”
He concluded, “If Joe Biden is incapable of running for office, he is incapable of serving in office. It is that simple.”
