A number of videos have surfaced today of Hamas-sympathizing students blocking Jewish students from attending classes. At UCLA students blatantly told a Jewish student “we’re not gonna let Zionists in.” At Columbia, a video shows the mask-wearing antisemite students physically assaulting Jewish students.
As yet, no videos have surfaced showing police or security guards doing anything to stop it on these and many other campuses. Compare this to January 6 Trump supporters who got up to 20 years in prison, including one U.S. veteran shot dead at point blank range.
Many of the students are openly chanting Hamas slogans and photos show students who have overthrown a building at Columbia hanging one sign out the window which read “Glory to the Martyrs” — a reference to the murderers and rapists who attacked Israel and another sign reading “intifada.”
Joining us now to discuss the ongoing controversy is Police officer Michael Letts of InVest USA, a charity that provides bulletproof vests to police and other first responders.
Q&A:
1. What is happening on these campuses? Why are they allowing the blatant harassment and assault of Jewish students?
2. What do you suppose authorities would do if these were KKK sympathizers blocking black students from entering the campuses?
3. Are any colleges, that you are aware of, handing this properly?
4. It appears at many of these institutions, professors are supporting the antisemitic students. What does this say about the state of our education system today?
5. Where are the police in all of this? Why aren’t they escorting Jewish students to class?
6. Where do you think this is heading? Is it going to get worse before it gets better?
7. Is this a wakeup call to Jewish students – to Jewish Americans in general – that the left is a threat to their existence?
8. Administrators are threatening to expel students. They’ve been threatening this for some time, but students appear to have no concern they will actually follow through. Is it likely there will be no consequences?
9. What are the next steps for InVest USA in its mission to support law enforcement officers?
10. Overview of upcoming initiatives and how the public can get involved.
