The Epoch Times’ senior investigative reporter Nan Su discusses the report, and what could come from it.
For the past couple of years, the Chinese Communist Party has been slowly but surely trying to find ways to infiltrate systems in the United States. But a new report has revealed just how deep they could go.
Per The Epoch Times, the CCP managed to interfere in the U.S. 2022 midterm elections through “various means.” This includes “retaliation against U.S. lawmakers, the promotion of divisive content, and the impersonation of American voters online.”
Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) discussed the report, and how Biden’s ignorance on what’s happening with Beijing could come back to haunt him as they continue their reported infiltration.
“Communist China has shown time and time again that they will stop at nothing to interfere in America’s elections,” Tiffany noted. “The Biden administration needs to take a harder line on PRC meddling and espionage.”
But the question is if Biden has any room in which to launch any sort of investigation – especially as his own re-election campaign looms.
