The former Mayor of Shiloh discusses the recent comments made by Israel, and explains where the war will go from here.
It’s been a rough few months of conflict between Israel and Hamas, and there’s no indication that it will end anytime soon.
The spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces recently made a statement on New Years’, proclaiming that the country is preparing for “prolonged fighting.”
Though some troops will be allowed time to regroup, the spokesman noted that “these adaptations are intended to ensure the planning and preparation for continuing the war in 2024.”
He continued, “The IDF must plan ahead out of an understanding that there will be additional missions and the fighting will continue the rest of the year.”
Though some reservists are set to leave Gaza “as soon as this week,” this will enable them to “re-energize ahead of the coming operations.”
The death toll and destruction from this war has been substantial, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing anytime soon. What are the next steps and why are they important?
Joining us now to discuss this matter further is David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and Founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. Welcome, Mayor Rubin.
