Are Pro-Palestinian Protestors Going Too Far?

Author and Genesis 123 Foundation founder Jonathan Feldstein takes a closer look at actions surrounding those supporting the anti-Israel movement.

Over the past few months, an outpouring of support has come in for Israel surrounding their battle against Hamas. However, surprisingly enough, Hamas has received a large amount of support as well, mainly from pro-Palestinian protestors. And they aren’t backing down.

Leading up to the holiday season, several protests have broken out all over the world – including right here in the United States. Fox News recently reported on an incident in New York City, in which hundreds of these protestors clashed with police and even staged a mock Nativity scene, noting “Christmas is canceled here.”

An even bigger incident took place beforehand, with pro-Palestinian protestors crashing a Visions Australia’s Carols by Candlelight event that was being televised in Australia, in an effort to support blind children. Several protestors had taken to the stage and screamed about Gaza before being ushered off by security.

The hatred isn’t stopping publicly either. It’s also spreading like wildfire across social media, with a number of sites – including the Genesis 123 Foundation’s official Facebook page – seeing backlash from these sorts of people. It’s all part of a growing trend of pro Hamas activists hijacking the public space, portraying lies and a sense of inhumanity against Israel, Christians and the West in general.

Joining us now to discuss this further is Jonathan Feldstein, a key Israeli figure and author, as well as founder of the Genesis 123 Foundation (based on Genesis 12:3). His personal involvement in what’s happening in Israel makes him an ideal subject for this interview. We welcome him to the show.

Q&A:

  1. Why do you think we’re seeing an increase in pro-Palestinian protests around the world? And, for that matter, seeing a flagrant disrespect for Christians as well as Jews by Hamas and their supporters?
  2. How is it that public disruptions like these by Hamas-terrorist supporters are becoming a trend that’s acceptable, even though they’re obscene?
  3. What kind of sentiment do you think these protestors are leaning towards with their messages? Or is there any sentiment to speak of?
  4. Where do you see the fight between Israel and Hamas going in the year ahead? Will the situation get worse before it gets better?
  5. You recently wrote a piece surrounding Christmas, including how Gazans “need a little Jesus.” Why do you think that religion (converting Moslems to Christianity) is the answer to peace with Gaza?
  6. We believe you recently discussed a Tanzanian Hamas terror victim that was recently laid to rest with comfort and support from Israel. Can you tell us more about him?
  7. Tell us about the Genesis 123 Foundation.
    1. It is a nonprofit whose mission is to build bridges between Jews and Christians with Israel in ways that are new, unique, and meaningful.
  8. Where may we find more information on the Genesis 123 Foundation?
    1. Answer: You can learn more at the official website at https://love.genesis123.co/.
